Currently working on a fun project that is packed with colour… not my usual personal style but I’ve been really enjoying pulling some inspiration looks together and sourcing furniture pieces. I’ve shared some of the top picks below, shop the look at the bottom!
Deep oranges are perfect as we move into the Autumnal months and this image shows perfectly how a summery, bright room can be re-tuned for the Fall. The suede material brings a richness and subtle tone to the colour while the cute plant pots and colourful artwork ties the look together perfectly.
This dark wall is the perfect backdrop for the punchy orange of the sofa. Dressing the playful colours up slightly into a grown up, considered space. The rug and cushions start to weave in gold tones to finish the palette off.
Ok, ok, so this is definitely a more paired back colour pop but it just works so well! It’s amazing what you can achieve with a well placed bouquet and several different shades of the same colour.
This has a gorgeous feminine vibe with the deep blues and pinks. A coloured headboard on a bed can feel slightly binding to a colour palette but there’s plenty of ways that exchangeable items such as cushions, throws and rugs can be used to refresh a room.
Highlighting your doorways can be a super playful way to insert colour into a space. It picks out the crossing into a new space and the limited surface area means you won’t feel overwhelmed….or if you’re feeling brave why not paint the full door!
